New release by Evano: Twixy Infinity

Twixt
Infinity

Atlantida Omni

This month Evano self-released a new conceptual work. ‘Twixt Infinity’ consists of eight pieces that feature very different sounds and track lengths.

You can listen to and download the album from Evano’s Bandcamp on a “name your price” basis.

From the ambient of ‘Sentes Punta’ to the low-fi noise of ‘Fall of Sins’ or the rhythmic complexity of the title-track, Evano dives into diverse sound experimentations that escape easy genre categories with underlining impressive creativeness.

Interstellar
Travel Guide
Volume I

To celebrate our debut, we gathered all our artists and challenged them to create music unbounded by genre-specific constrictions. “Interstellar Travel Guide” is a two-part compilation featuring the agency’s 24 artists, and showcases a versatile array of music ranging from spoken vocals & ambient drones to exploratory techno. ‘Volume I’ is the compilation’s most experimental part, assembling 12 compositions of calm, awe-inspiring moments fundamentally aimed at contemplation, and meditation. Volume II will be released shortly after and will gather tracks from the other side of the spectrum, exploring rather beat-driven arrangements.

“Interstellar Travel Guide” is exclusively available on Bandcamp in both digital and limited-edition cassette format. In solidarity with recent protests against police racism and brutality, and in honour of the Stonewall riots of 1969, we’ll also be donating our revenue during the next two months to black-, trans- and queer-led anti-discrimination organizations committed to long-term systemic change, political education, and engagement within the communities such as NAACP, Black Visions Collective and Queer Refugees Germany.

Imaginary Radio Stations — “IRS C60 VOL 1”

Imaginary
Radio
Stations

“IRS C60
Volume 1″

“IRS C60 VOL.1″ is the first album of Imaginary Radio Stations, a collection of otherworldly noise and terrestrial tectonics from three Slovenian monks sequestered in a greenhouse far from civilization.

Imaginary Radio Stations is a project by three Slovenian music enthusiasts, DJs and artists, founded in Berlin. Its existence is as an expression of pure intent without fitting into flavor-of-the-week hype columns, purist approaches and associated micro-scenes. The aim is timelessness, always inspired by concrete ambients, settings and states of mind, beckoning the wandering ear to tune in. Its concept reflects the commodification and atomization of music culture. By blurring the lines between genres and styles, producers and consumers it mirrors a fragmented culture of innumerable acteurs where everyone curates their own imaginary radio.

Imaginary Radio Stations host events in Berlin at Club Maze since 2018. They are constantly working on new music and events. You can keep up to date on their work right here:
