Originally from Birmingham, UK, but living in Lisbon since late 2014, Joe Delon has a love of disco, house, techno and electro from around the world. If you make him choose, his top 5 years for music are 1979, 1984, 1988, 1990 and 2001.
In the past year, Joe played gigs from London to Berlin and from New York to Marrakech. This spring he will make his debut at Robert Johnson, Closer and Hoppetosse. He has put in an appearance at the infamous Breakfast Club afters in Paris and, of course, plays regularly as one of the residents for Spaced. Joe has also been thrilled to play at a number of queer-run nights including Kiss Me Again (Manchester), El Cuerpo Del Disco (Madrid), Pumping Velvet (London) and Kit Ket (Lisbon).
Online, Joe inaugurated the Pickle Factory live mix series and more recently has been a guest on Honey Soundsystem’s Honey Potcast and Prosumer’s NTS show. He also keeps a monthly slot – Flamingo – on Lisbon’s Râdio Quántica.
